With everything that has been going on it feel so great to be writing again. I love the idea of sitting down and creating something new for the world to hear. The most interesting part of the creative process is seeing the finished product and knowing where it started. So much can change from when you first have that spark of inspiration to hearing the final mix. I LOVE IT! Another amazing thing is working with others to create a unified vision. With so many minds and hearts working towards one goal its almost hard not to create awesomeness! Even when I write a song that remains relatively the same lyrically, by they time the producers adds effects and the engineer tweaks all those crazy knobs and buttons the finished product becomes a collaboration of so many different people that you have to just sit back and appreciate the process.
Back to the writing though. Having an outlet to express myself whether I feeling up or down is priceless. Some of us may write songs or poems others my draw or paint and others may sculpt. What ever it is find your outlet and get it out! So, if you haven’t found your outlet I'm asking you to pick up a pen, paintbrush, guitar, lump of clay, anything. Experiment until you find what works for you. Ohh! and another thing, DO IT FOR YOURSELF Don't worry about the judgment of others do it because you enjoy it, do it because of how it makes you feel. :D
