The Gays. The humans. The people. Everyday People. People, who are working jobs. People, who are trying to make it. People, who have responsibilities. People, who are making a difference. I never knew a gay person when I was growing up, or at least I was never aware I did. But, I can also say I’ve always been an open minded person who likes to constantly learn and grow. Now, more of my friends are gay then straight! And they are amazing. Not just because they’re gay, but because their amazing people, every day people. I can’t understand how someone would not give another person a chance at friendship just because of their orientation. It surprises me still and will continue to. I want to challenge the ignorance in this world and let it be known that knowledge is POWER!!! I love the gays aka humans aka people and I will continue to be at their side when ignorance is poking its evil head.
