With everything there is to do on a daily, life can get crazy stressful.
Remember childhood….ahhh life without a care in the world! Sometimes I just want to go back to that, it seemed so much easier.
I'm trying to live the dream, work the day job, pay the bills, take care of the business, banking, house stuff ,have friend/family time and take "me" time! The lists are out of control! When I look at them I just want to turn away and say, "screw it! I'm going for vino and ice cream!"(my comfort food) ha ha! But we have to face it sometime right? Otherwise the clutter, stress and chaos will keep building and eventually become overwhelming. So don’t let it go that far, take action now!
I found this little gem that has made all the difference with my organizational skills and has helped clear my mind of all the todo lists. I'm all about spreading the word, if you find something that works for you share the knowledge! So here it is, "Getting Things Done" by David Allen. How cool is that title?! It states exactly what it is about. NO BS, right to the point. His organizational methods are really nifty too! This has helped me really put things into perspective and realize that my brain doesn't have to be thinking about everything all the time! It's been really interesting finding out how much crap builds up in our life when we turn the other way. And it's so easy to fall into that, avoiding seems nice! Right?! I hope if you are having trouble getting things done, this can help you how it has helped me. Let's get things done!
