You crazy universe you! Just when I start to question myself or maybe have thoughts of doubt you always hit me with something amazing! You say, “ Monika stop the bs and start seeing what you have, not what you don’t have!”. And you tell me that all I have to do is not just believe in myself, but actually feel what I want for my future! Thanks for putting me in check universe:)
This past month I was going through a little bit of a low (aka Mad Mokka Month), and as you see I did not keep up on my blogging, sorry peeps, but I needed that time to just chill. So I did just that. I sat. I caught up on movies. I ate. And ate some more. And it was great at some points and not so great at some points ( stomach pains from too much chocolate:(). But during the end of my month I started talking to Almon and some of our Ntuit team members about our plan and our commitment. We started brainstorming and having positive energy in the room, it was fantastic! we were all screaming “fuck ya!” (and you know how much I love screaming this), Almon and I started making new music (can’t wait for you to hear!) and then what do you know....universe comes knocking at the door! Channel 12 news called to say they wanted to do an interview on us. They had seen our stuff and wanted to highlight us during a segment after the popular show The Voice. Of course we said yes, and as you see it happened! And when we were taping the show all the thoughts of why I am doing this and why I want to be a performer came rushing back in. I am enjoying the ride. You win universe, I will keep going for the dream! Thank you channel 12 for a great segment! Hope you like it!!
