This year we got a chance to perform at Phoenix Pride. We were so excited for this opportunity, and now we have new contacts and people that can help us get into more Prides! San Diego, LA, Frisco and many more here we come! It was also nice to finally work on such a huge stage. The stage was about 35x30, a far cry from our release party stage of 8x8! We could actually move this time! Lol!! We got a great reaction and applause after each song and awesome feedback after the show.
The pluses;
I loved my outfit and got so many compliments, thank you Ricke! VMarie Rocks!
I loved my dancers. They are great girls and they know how to work it!
I loved being able to perform at such a large venue!
We had about 14 people walk in together, it was awesome!
One the most amazing parts of this performance and all performances is meeting new fans, signing autographs, taking pictures, it reminds me how much I love making music for my peeps!
As wonderful as everything went, the artist in me always wants to do better; I want dress rehearsals on stage, sound checks, prop checks, more dancers, wardrobe changes etc. It’s all about putting on a better show for you! I am definitely looking forward to that in the future. Woop! Woop!
After the performance I CRASHED! I was sooo wiped out. It’s crazy how much energy you use on stage, it’s interesting to see how it drains you physically and emotionally. I was never this wiped out as a dancer, and I danced for 6hrs a day sometimes! Signing and dancing is a whole other ball game for me!
Any one ever experience this? Any quick recovery tips?
I was so happy and honored to perform at Pride. Something that I believe in so much and I got to be a part of it……too cool :)

Singing and Dancing is more that just that... it is an art that uses every ounce of not only your physical body but the emotional and spiritual part as well... you are very lucky to be able to tap into all those things... not everyone can!
