So this week I leave to Washington D.C. with one of my favorite people, the Culinary Comedian himself, Thomas Smith! Together we are known as MONOMAS!!!....Or TOMIKA, whichever you prefer;) We’re being sent away on an amazing opportunity to be wined and dined by Shamrock Foods! And trust, Shamrock knows how to BRING IT! We'll be staying in the lap of luxury at the Ritz Carlton, all expenses paid! We have a weeks worth of tours and events including the White House, dinner at the National Museum of American History and we will also attend a ball at the beautiful Andrew Mellon Auditorium!! I feel like a foodie princess! Thomas, being the big foodie that he is, is the perfect person to attend this and I trust his palet like I trust my doc! LOL! I've never been to D.C. and although I'm really excited for the ball and and all the fancy dinners, I'm also looking forward to taking in the city and all it’s history. So, if you've been and can reccomend some great places to go please share:) D.C here we come!!!!
Another great thing about this trip is coming home...Why? Because I fly in the night before I perform at the Rainbow Festival in Phoenix and AIDS WALK Phx the following morning! Amazing trip with a great friend and a show waiting when I get home. What more could a girl ask for;)
